TERUNSOUL D016 Parking Monitoring Kit Hardwire Kit

Why Choose This Kit?

🚗 Pain Point: Who Protects Your Car When It's Parked?

Most dash cams lose power when the engine is off, leaving no record of scratches, vandalism, theft attempts, or collisions in parking lots. With the TERUNSOUL D016 Parking Monitoring Kit and dedicated step-down cable, your car continues to be monitored even when the engine is off, providing true 24/7 parking monitoring and parking surveillance.

🔧 Solution: Step-Down Cable + Parking Monitoring Mode

The kit includes a TERUNSOUL dedicated step-down cable, which draws direct hardwire power from the vehicle's fuse box and continuously supplies stable power to the dash cam even when the engine is off. The dash cam automatically enters time-lapse parking recording mode, recording continuously at low power consumption and low frame rate. Upon detecting a collision or vibration, it immediately triggers emergency recording and locks the video for reliable evidence.

Intelligent Low-Voltage Protection: The step-down cable has a built-in low-voltage protection chip that automatically cuts off power when the battery voltage drops below a preset threshold, helping prevent battery drain and ensuring the vehicle never runs out of power and starts normally.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Will parking monitoring drain the battery?

A: No. The TERUNSOUL dedicated step-down cable has a built-in intelligent low-voltage protection chip that automatically cuts off power when the battery voltage drops below a preset threshold, helping prevent battery drain and ensuring the vehicle can always start normally.

Q: What is the difference between this kit and the regular D016 version?

A: The regular version only includes the dash cam itself and basic accessories; the parking monitoring kit additionally includes a dedicated step-down cable, enabling continuous power supply and parking monitoring functions after the engine is turned off, and also includes a 128GB memory card, ready to use out of the box, requiring no additional accessories.

Q: Is the step-down cable installation complicated?

A: It needs to be connected to the vehicle's fuse box, requiring some hands-on experience. If you are not familiar with automotive electrical systems, professional installation is recommended at an auto detailing shop or repair shop. The kit includes a detailed instruction manual, which experienced users can complete independently.

Q: Is 4K resolution necessary?

A: Absolutely. 4K footage clearly captures details of license plates, road signs, and pedestrians, providing crucial evidence in accident liability determination. The D016 is true 4K front and rear, not interpolated 4K.

Q: How long can a 128GB card record?

A: In 4K dual recording mode, a 128GB card can record for approximately 4-6 hours. The recorder supports loop overwrite, automatically overwriting older videos with newer ones, and locking emergency videos for protection, so there's no need to worry about insufficient storage space.

Q: What is the maximum supported storage card size?

A: The D016 supports up to a 512GB microSD card.

Q: What is the WiFi used for?

A: Connecting to the mobile app via 5.8GHz WiFi allows for real-time previewing of footage, video downloads, and settings adjustments without removing the storage card.

Q: How do I view the GPS track? A: Driving trajectory, real-time speed, latitude and longitude coordinates, and other information will be overlaid on the video feed, which can be viewed through a mobile app or a computer player.

Q: What should I do if my Terunsoul rear camera isn't working?

A: Check the rear camera connection, cable routing, and power source first. Re-seat the connector and confirm the camera is mounted correctly. If the issue continues, refer to the installation guide or contact support.
