TERUNSOUL OBD Hardwire Kit (19.8ft)-Applicable to D016/D018/FW983A

TERUNSOUL OBD Hardwire Kit (19.8ft) for Reliable In-Car Power

Product Introduction
The TERUNSOUL OBD Step-Down Cable is a smart power supply cable designed specifically for dashcams. It draws power from the vehicle's OBD interface (on-board diagnostic port), eliminating the need to remove the fuse box; it's plug-and-play, easily enabling 24-hour parking monitoring. A built-in low-voltage protection chip automatically cuts off power when the battery voltage drops below a preset threshold, preventing the vehicle from failing to start.

Key Features
OBD Direct Plug, Non-destructive Installation
No wire cutting or searching for the ACC fuse is required. Simply plug it into the vehicle's OBD interface (usually located under the steering wheel) to instantly provide continuous power to the dashcam.

Intelligent Low-Voltage Protection
Real-time monitoring of battery voltage. Automatically cuts off power when the voltage drops below 11.6V / 23.2V (automatic recognition for 12V/24V models), prioritizing vehicle starting.

Wide Voltage Compatibility
Supports 12V–24V vehicle models, suitable for most gasoline and new energy vehicles, including sedans, SUVs, trucks, and vans.

Three-Wire Output Design
Provides an ACC signal wire, a constant wire, and a ground wire, compatible with the parking monitoring trigger logic of mainstream dashcams (some dashcams require ACC wake-up).

Plug and Play, No Setup Required
Works immediately upon plugging in, no additional configuration required. Outputs a stable 5V/2.5A current, compatible with most dashcams.

Safe Materials
The cable uses a pure copper core and flame-retardant outer sheath, with a built-in fuse and automatic overcurrent and overheat protection, ensuring safety and reliability.

Applicable Scenarios

✅ Dashcam users who need 24-hour parking monitoring

✅ Car owners who don't want to remove the fuse box and prefer a non-destructive installation

✅ Vehicle OBD port is available and easily accessible

✅ Compatible with TERUNSOUL series dashcams (such as D016, D018, etc.) and most mainstream brand dashcams

How to Install?

Confirm that the dashcam supports parking monitoring (ACC detection or time-lapse recording mode is required).

Plug the OBD connector into the OBD port below the steering wheel.

Route the output cable along the door frame or interior trim seam to the dashcam location.

Plug the dashcam into its power connector.

Start the vehicle and check if the dashcam starts normally; after turning off the engine, the dashcam should automatically enter parking monitoring mode (requires dashcam support).

Some models have a constant power OBD port, while others have ACC power supplied with the engine. This step-down cable can automatically adapt, providing power even after the engine is off, with recording controlled by the dashcam's own logic. Package Contents:

Precautions:

Please ensure your dashcam supports parking monitoring and that its power interface is compatible with this product.

This product is for dashcam power only. Do not use it with other high-power devices.

For long-term parking (more than one week), it is recommended to unplug the OBD connector to avoid accumulating small power consumption.

If the vehicle's OBD interface is already occupied by other devices (such as HUD, vehicle monitoring system), an OBD 1-to-2 adapter can be purchased.
